Well today is/was Saturday. I supposed I didn't realize exactly how much the exams took it out of me because I slept until 1:40 despite my mother's efforts to wake me and get me to the barn. After I was awake and showered, (without wearing flip-flops! *Gasp!*,) I headed out to the bank and upon father's orders opened an account and I now have an ATM card. Woot money! Now all I have to do is find someone at school with a car who wouldn't mind taking me to Wakefield to use the Bank of America ATM so I don't get charged five dollars every time I take money out.
After that I went home, ate some of my father's homemade chilli, (homemade! *eyes sparkle and tears run down face anime style*,) and then headed out to the mall with one of my greatest pals Alyssa! My goal for this weekend is to spend time with those who I didn't get to see before I left for college. That means Alyssa and Kyle. Part one of two in my goal was reached when Alyssa and I schleped around for two and a half hours. I bought a whole bunch of shit, (Jill! I started my MST3K collection! I got "Manos"!) and Alyssa showed me her totally awesome photos from Otakon 2005 and gave my back my Chrono Crusade DVD's. However, when she handed me back the first one, it was written on with silver sharpie! GASP! Unbeknownst to me, the little schemer had the cover of disc one signed by Greg Ayres, Chrono's enlish voice actor! *SQUEES!!!!!!* Thank you so much again kiddo! That was seriously the best surprise ever!
After that adventure, (and a lot of good-bye hugs, not enough in my opinion,) I went home, got into my pj's and fell asleep watching "Legally Blonde". I then woke up around ten and called my boyfriend and made plans to go see "Corpse Bride" tomorrow/today. I finally get to see it! *SQUEE!* After that my phone started to die so I hung up because I forgot to plug in the charger for the phone. I then did my Saturday usual and watched "Inuyasha" and "Fullmetal Alchemist". After that episode of FMA I remembered what Vic had said in Alyssa's e-mail, (that lucky dog getting e-mails from Vic!,) about the ending of the series being sad but good. So for once, (or maybe twice, I can't honestly remember,) I looked up the ending to the series, (wooooo Google!) So yea, the ending is sad, but yea, it is REALLY good too. Action packed and emotional. For those of you who recognize these things, it sort of reminds me of a cross between the ending of "The Amber Spyglass" and "Kingdom Hearts". Really good shit I can't wait to see it.
So now that I've ruined the ending of one the best animes ever created I'm gonna go to bed now. Bye-bye!
~Quote of the Day~
(While watching the episode of FMA when Ed first takes the alchemy exam; the hydrogen paper balloon pops and crashes into the dude's tower and it starts to collapse. Everybody pretty much starts screaming and saying that this situation is bad and the shots, (camera shots people,) keep flashing from Mustang, to the rocks falling, to the guy screaming, to Ed running, to the rocks falling, blah blah blah...)
